FROM HOTEL HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS (KUALA LUMPUR): Bangladesh High Commissioner in Malaysia Shahidul Islam said the Bangladesh we all know today is full of prospects, possibilities and full of sound of victory.

He made the remarks in a view exchange meeting organized by Bangladesh’s leading online news-portal Banglanews24.com at Hotel Holiday Inn Express in Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur on Friday (Dec 8).

Banglanews organized the view exchange discussion to find out the prospects and problems faced by thousands of Bangladeshi expatriates in the economically rising country. 

The discussion was chaired by Banglanews Editor-in-Chief Alamgir Hossain where top leaders of Bnagladeshi community took part. 

Referring to the heading of the Banglanews discussion, the High Commissioner expressed solidarity with the possibilities of today’s Bangladesh. Now it is time we all want to listen to the sound of victory, he said.

Mentioning the activities of High Commission regarding the expatriates, Shahidul Islam said, “I was born in a village and brought up riddled with problems. I have seen how to overcome problem and transform it into possibility.”

Highlighting the role of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina he said due to her capable leadership there is a gulf of difference between yesterday and today. Our PM is taking us to a prestigious position in the world. 

Bangladeshis are second largest community living in Malaysia. In this rising economy, there are prospects and also some problems. The country is liked by the Bangladeshis for tourism and medical treatment.
