DHAKA: Prime Bank Limited opened its 133rd branch at Kulaura in Moulvibazar district on Saturday, said a press release.
Mother of Azam J Chowdhury, the former chairman of the bank, Bakhtunnesa Chowdhury inaugurated the branch.
Vice Chairman of Board of Directors of the bank Mafiz Ahmed Bhuiyan was present at the program as the Chief Guest and Former Chairman Azam J Chowdhury was present at the program as the special guest.
Director M Shahadat Hossain and Managing Director and CEO of the Bank M Ehsan Khasru were also present as the guests in the program. Director of the bank Marina Yasmin Chowdhury presided over the function.
Former Directors of the bank Firoza Amin and Saheda Pervin Trisha, and Deputy Managing Directors Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury and Quazi ASM Anisul Kabir were also present at the programme.
In their speeches the guests said, Prime Bank is giving priority to the SME sector at the moment. We are gradually increasing our investments on SME and agro-industry besides the large industries. The bank is financing in flowers, spices, food and agro based businesses.
The speakers also said that Prime Bank is a modern and technology based bank. The bank is operated through automated system maintaining the International Standards.
Prime Bank renders customer services with the demand of time; it has put highest emphasis on technology based banking as the demand of technology based services is in increasing trend.
