DHAKA: Investors witnessed minor fall in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Tuesday.
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over 77 points only to stand at 4,277 at the close on the third trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 165276 with volume of transactions at Tk 7262 million.
Of the issues traded, 60 advanced, 209 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
ORIONPHARM topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 336 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were RNSPIN, GENNEXT, PTL, SPPCL, ENVOYTEX, GP, CMCKAMAL, BENGALWTL and MPETROLEUM.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8,419 by dropping over 130 points.
Out of the issues traded, 39 gained, 169 declined and 13 remained unchanged.
