DHAKA: Investors witnessed minor fall in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Thursday.
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over 16 points only to stand at 4,277 at the close on the first trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 111,735 with volume of transactions at Tk 4417 million.
Of the issues traded, 125 advanced, 127 declined and 27 remained unchanged.
DELTALIFE topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 334 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were PTL, GENNEXT, ARGONDENIM, JAMUNAOIL, RNSPIN, TALLUSPIN, BDBUILDING, EHL and BENGALWTL.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 4,372 by dropping over 45 points.
Out of the issues traded, 65 gained, 140 declined and 15 remained unchanged.
