DHAKA: Businessmen of Bashundhara City and Eastern Plaza staged human chain and rally with white flag protesting political deadlock continues.

They also sought peace, unity and political compromise for the sake of country’s welfare and smooth functioning of the economy.

They staged the demonstration from 11.00am to 12.00pm following a protest call by the country’s apex trade organization FBCCI.

While talking on the rally businessmen urged all the political parties concerned to come out from the cycle of unhealthy politics to protect trades, industries and the country as a whole.

They said, “We are not against politics but please shut the violence and ongoing political dreadlock.”
