DHAKA: The Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) will be started from January 11 instead of January 1 due to ongoing agitation programme over upcoming parliament election which is scheduled to be held on January 5.
Abdul Latif Bakshi, Public Relation Officer of Commerce Ministry confirmed the matter to banglanews on Tuesday.
Commerce Ministry joint secretary (export) Atiqur Rahman told banglanews that the ministry has received the file regarding the deferment of fair on Monday after signing by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
