DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Sunday.
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 29 points to stand at 4,437 at the close on the first trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 136,051with transaction at Tk 6,197 million. Of the issues traded, 164 advanced, 88 declined and 36 remained unchanged.
GOLDENSON topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 252 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were OLYMPIC, SPPCL, APOLOISPAT BENGALWTL, DELTALIFE, GENNEXT, ORIONPHARM, PADMAOIL and ACTIVEFINE.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,736 by gaining over 73 points.
Out of the issues traded, 112 gained, 81 declined and 27 remained unchanged.
