DHAKA: Commerce Minister Tofael Ahmed emphasized on waterway, railway and road communication to expand trade and commerce among the SAARC countries.
He came up with the observation on Friday while he was attending fifth SAARC Business Leaders Conclave (SBLC) conference in India.
Tofael also highlighted the export success of Bangladesh and said our entrepreneurs are doing a marvelous job in this field. He further insisted India to ease the complexities and ease the communication barriers in importing goods from Bangladesh.
Late, he met with the Security Advisor of India Shivshankar Menon and discussed about the security of two countries. Moreover Tofael had a talk with the President of India Pranab Mukherjee for the betterment of two countries.
However, Tofael Ahmed flew for India on January 16 to attend a four-day conference. This was the very first visit to abroad for any minister after new government took office.
