DHAKA: Investors saw moderate fall in the benchmark indices of country’s bourses on Tuesday.
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over 45 points only to stand at 4706 at the close on the third trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 125,300 with volume of transactions at Tk 5,932 million.
Of the issues traded, 76 advanced, 181 declined and 35 remained unchanged.
PADMAOIL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 176 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were SQURPHARMA, SUMITPOWER, MPETROLEUM, BENGALWTL, UCBL, LANKABAFIN, UNITEDAIR, LAFSURCEML and OLYMPIC.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 9,252 by dropping over 90 points.
Out of the issues traded, 55 gained, 157 declined and 16 remained unchanged.
