DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Sunday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 37 points to stand at 4790 at 10:50 am on the first trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 13, 132 with transaction at Tk 602 million.

Of the issues traded, 138 advanced, 37 declined and 29 remained unchanged.

MPETROLEUM topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 47 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9,420 by gaining over 53 points at 10:50am.

Out of the issues traded, 58 gained, 23 declined and nine remained unchanged.
