FROM MADANGANJ PORT (NARAYANGANJ): A high rank delegation of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Wednesday praised the technology used to produce Bashundhara Cement.
The delegation from Civil Engeneering Department of BUET expressed their content after visiting Bashundhara Cement factory in Madanganj area under port upazila of the district by Shitlakshya river.
Head of Civil Engeneering Department Professor Dr AMM Taufiqul Anwar led the delegation comprising of Dr Mohammad Hossain Ali, Professor Dr Mazharul Haque, Professor Dr Ekramul Haque, Professor Dr Abdul Moktadir, Professor Dr Hasib Mohammad Ahsan, Professor Dr Sarwar Jaham M Yasin, Professor Dr Samdul Haque, Professor Dr Tanvir Hasan, Professor Dr Rakib Ahsan, Professor Dr Mizanur Rahman, Professor Dr Sariful Islam, Assistant Professor Dr Tanvir Manjur, Assistant Professor Dr Mahbubur Rahman Chowdhury, Lecturer Faizus Salehin, Lecturer Abul Basar Imon, Lecturer Makshimul Islam, Lecturer Sadia Afreen, Lecturer Sohana Ifat, Lecturer Samsunnahar Suchana, Lecturer Sanjana Hossain.
Head of Plant Engineer Shamsuddin made graphical presentation about raw materials, machineries, quality control lab and related things in before the delegation when they reached in the factory in the morning.
He also informed various things that the delegation inquired about.
Later, the delegation visited the laboratory and various sections, including the place of production.
The delegation expressed their contentment with the management and technological quality of the plant.
