DHAKA: Investors witnessed minor fall in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Monday.
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over 24 points only to stand at 4,797 at the close on the second trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 121,900 with volume of transactions at Tk 6,034 million.
Of the issues traded, 95 advanced, 170 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
SQURPHARMA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 355 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were MPETROLEUM,BSCCL, OLYMPIC JAMUNAOIL, GP, LANKABAFIN, SOUTHEASTB, HEIDELBCEM PADMAOIL.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 9,432 by dropping over 44 points.
Out of the issues traded, 54 gained, 148 declined and 24 remained unchanged.
