DHAKA: Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Bangladesh increased 1.36 percent during July-November 2013 period of 2013-14 fiscal year compared to the same period last fiscal.
The Bangladesh Bank`s data showed on Monday.
The central bank`s data showed that net FDI inflows were recorded at $673 million during the five months starting from July, as against $664 million in the same period last fiscal, reported Xinhua.
The bank, however, did not provide any details on the FDI inflows.
Net FDI inflows in the country in 2012-13 FY (July 2012-June 2013) stood at $1.47 billion, as against $1.19 billion in 2011-12 fiscal year, the data also showed.
