DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Wednesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 36 points to stand at 4708 at 11:10 am on the fourth trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 9,513 with transaction at Tk 531 million.

Of the issues traded, 174 advanced, 17 declined and 17 remained unchanged.

BSCCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 60 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9,253 by gaining over 46 points at 11:10am.

Out of the issues traded, 74 gained, 11 declined and seven remained unchanged.
