DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Wednesday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over five points to stand at 4,751 at 12:10pm.

Trade deals stood at 23889 with volume of transactions at Tk 826 million.

Of the issues traded, 75 advanced, 154 declined and 26 remained unchanged.

ALLTEX topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 75 million having changed hands during the time.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8800 by dropping over 13 points at about 12:03pm.

Out of the issues traded, 45 gained, 88 declined and 20 remained unchanged.
