DHAKA: Investors saw moderate fall in the benchmark indices of country’s bourses on Thursday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over zero point to stand at 4749 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 127803 with volume of transactions at Tk 6,465 million.

Of the issues traded, 118 advanced, 143 declined and 33 remained unchanged.

SINGERBD topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 372 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were OLYMPIC, SQURPHARMA, CONFIDCEM, APEXFOOT, DELTALIFE, GP, BATBC, BSC and BSCCL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 9287 by dropping over 41 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 72 gained, 140 declined and 19 remained unchanged.
