DHAKA: The Bangladesh Bank (BB) has fixed charges for ATM, Internet and Mobile banking in inter-bank service with a view to accelerating electronic banking.
In this regard, the central bank issued a circular signed by KM Abdul Wadud, General Manager of the bank, on Tuesday.
From now on the ATM card holder has to pay Tk 10.
Besides, the circular said Internet and Mobile banking charges have also been reduced. In this regard, Bangladesh Bank has established National Payment Switch of Bangladesh (NPSB).
A client has to pay Tk 10 while withdrawing money from an ATM booth of other bank and service bank will pay rest Tk 10 to the booth holder bank.
To know the balance, clients will to pay Tk 5. Bangladesh Bank will allow any bank to get the NPSB service free now.
