CHITTAGONG: Stern legal action will be taken if illegal billboards and unfit vehicles are not moved from the port city within two months.

Communications Minister Obaidul Quader issued the warning to concerned authorities on Sunday adding, “These unfit cars and illegal billboards are creating problems.”

He was addressing at a programme at Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) Depot Premises in the city.

At that time the minister, on behalf of Prime Minister, handed over three buses to Bandarban Govt. College, Bandarban Govt. Women College and Bandarban Technical Training Center.

Earlier PM Sheikh Hasina promised at a programme in Bandarban to provide vehicles.

Obaidul Quader informed that ruling Awami League Government has given some 1,000 vehicles to different institution.
