BRAHMANBARIA: The National grid on Monday started getting 15 million cubic feet (MMCF) additional gas per day from Shimrail Kandi Gas Field in the district.

Bangladesh Gas Field Company made the announcement.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Well-27 project director Fazlul Haque Chowdhury said commercial exploration and supply of gas from well-27 of Titas Gas has began.

He also hoped that 20 million cubic feet of gas would be explored per day gradually which will ease the country’s gas crisis.
