DHAKA: Investors witnessed negligible gain in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Sunday.
The DSE broad index rose over 17 points to stand at 4616 at the close on the first trading day of the week.
The volume of transactions stood Tk 90,804 million with 3,991 trade deals.
Of the issues traded, 182 advanced, 86 declined and 20 remained unchanged.
MPETROLEUM topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 268 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were LAFSURCEML, HEIDELBCEM, GP, OLYMPIC, PADMAOIL, SQURPHARMA, UCBL, ABBANK and FAMILYTEX.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,880 by gaining over 11 points.
Out of the issues traded, 140 gained, 64 declined and 14 remained unchanged.
