DHAKA: The Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Atiur Rahman has ordered to extend the grace period to six months to female entrepreneurs’ in regard of loan repayment.

He came up with the disclosure as chief guest in a seminar at the auditorium of Bangladesh Bank Training Center in city’s Mirpur area on Saturday.

Moreover he emphasized and suggested banks on maintaining and monitoring the rules of grace period properly.

Atiur Rahman also intended to introduce a maiden scheme named Risk Guaranty Scheme.

Among others Bangladesh Bank Deputy Governor Abul Kashem, prominent woman entrepreneur Selima Ahmed and Nasrin Awal Mintu were present there.
