Deal signed with Egypt for aircrafts

DHAKA: The Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh signed agreement of two aircrafts for Bangladesh Biman. 

Both of the two aircrafts were taken on lease from Egypt Air, the national flag-carrier of Egypt. The lease agreement is for five years.

The second lease-hold Boeing 777-200 of Biman Bangladesh arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday. 

Mahmoud Ezzat, Ambassador of Egypt to Dhaka, Air Marshal Jamal Uddin Ahmed, Chairman of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Omar Shoeab, Deputy Head of Mission of Egyptian Embassy and Biman Officials including the senior pilots were present to mark the event.
