DHAKA: Bangladesh Association of Call Center & Outsourcing (BACCO) organized a day long training program on ‘Value Added Tax on Product & Service specialized for ITES industry’ Saturday.
The program was supported by the ICT Business Promotion Council (IBPC), Ministry of Commerce as part of its industry development and promotion activities.
Wahid Sharif, Second Vice-President of BACCO inaugurated the program and said in his speech that this program would surely benefit the participants to understand about VAT & its process and encourage them to return regularly.
He also thanked IBPC for their supportive role to this initiative.
Abdur Rahman Shawon, Executive Coordinator of BACCO was also present during the program.
The program was conducted by Md Lutfor Rahman, Commissioner, Customs, Excise & VAT Commissionerate.
Professionals from numerous call centers/BPO organizations enthusiastically participated at the training program and gathered practical knowledge about VAT, Importance of VAT, Return of VAT, Valuation, Adjudication & Appeal, Record Keeping & Accounting in VAT, etc.
Organizers have announced to provide the certificate among the participants of the training program.
