DHAKA: Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide Bangladesh Tk 24,000 crore as loan in the next three years (2015-2017) for various development projects.
Source said the loan would be used in developing river management and preventing natural disaster and railway sector.
Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal and ADB Country Director for its Bangladesh resident mission Kazuhiko Higuchi held a meeting in this regard at planning commission at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in city on Monday.
After the meeting, the minister confirmed the matter to banglanews.
There are 58 projects are underway in the country with the help of ADB.
ADB chief economist Mohammad Zahid Hossain was also present on the occasion.
