DHAKA: Finance Minister AMA Muhith on Tuesday said several media are trying to instigate the stock markets by publishing rumors.

The finance minister came up with the observation while talking to journalists after attending a share handing over ceremony at his secretariat office in the city.

Muhith said, “At present, the share marker remains at very stable condition, which will continue in future.”

Shares of worth Tk 66 crore and 82.69 lakh of government’s part of beneficiary owner (BO) account of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) were handed over on the occasion.
