DHAKA: Investors witnessed sharp fall in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Thursday.
The DSE broad index shed over two points to stand at 4,408 at the close on the last trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 85,210 with transaction at Tk 3,687 million.
Of the issues traded, 133 advanced, 132 declined and 31 remained unchanged.
GP topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 338 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were LAFSURCEML, BSRMSTEEL, APOLOISPAT, SQURPHARMA, BSCCL, EHL, MJLBD, ACI and BEXIMCO.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 4,810 by dropping over zero point.
Out of the issues traded, 83 gained, 108 declined and 28 remained unchanged.
