DHAKA: Investors witnessed slight fall in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Wednesday.
The DSE broad index shed over 13 points to stand at 4,466 at the close on the fourth trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 65,050 with transaction at Tk 2,578 million.
Of the issues traded, 91 advanced, 168 declined and 31 remained unchanged.
BEXIMCO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 313 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were GP, UNITEDAIR, LAFSURCEML, SQURPHARMA, PADMAOIL, BSCCL, NBL, MPETROLEUM and PREMIERBAN.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8,504 by dropping over two points.
Out of the issues traded, 51 gained, 129 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
