DHAKA: M Abu Bakar Siddique has been appointed as new Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Rupali Bank Limited.

Public Relations Officer of the bank Khairul Hossain Razu issued a press release in this regard on Monday.

The news release said recently bank and financial institutions division of the Finance Ministry issued as notification appointing Abu Bakar.

Earlier, he had been working for Janata Bank in Administration and Human Resource Department as General Manager.    

He started his career in Janata Bank and discharged his duties as manager in Arab Emirate’s Sharjah branch and several branches in the bank. 

Abu Bakar also honored with ‘Grindledge Bank Award’ obtaining 1st place in Banking Diploma after completing Masters on English language and literature.
