DHAKA: The Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) approved six development projects involving Tk 7,839 crores.

The approval came from an ECNEC meeting held on Tuesday at the NEC conference room in city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area with ECNEC chairperson Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

Briefing reporters after the meeting, Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal said “the costs of the projects have been estimated at Tk 7,839 crores. Some Tk 5,441 crores will be invested from national exchequer and others Tk 2,339 crores from project assistance.”
