AKHAURA (BRAHMANBARIA): The second largest land port of the country Akhaura Land Port will fall in the trap of 8-day long holidays of Eid-ul Fitr, Shab-e-Qadar that starts from July 25 to August 1.
General Secretary of Akhaura Land Port’s C & F Association M Monir Hossain Babul confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Export-Import Association president of Akhaura Land Port M Tajib Bhuiyan told banglanews that July 25 is a weekly holiday; it will be Shab-e-Qard on July 26; though the port will be open on July 27, it again will be closed from July 28 to August 1 at a stretch.
However, the normal haulage through the port will be started on August 2.
