DHAKA: The country has set a record $148 crore of remittance in the just concluded fiscal year, said Bangladesh Bank, the central bank of the country.
After liberation war, this is the highest ever amount of remittance.
The figure is 15.15 percent higher than last June and 19.67 percent higher than that was in July of fiscal year 2013-14, BB also said.
The country set the record $145.36 crore of remittance in October of 2012, the central bank added.
