DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Thursday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over one point to stand at 4,486 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 1,13,860 with transaction at Tk 5,880 million. Of the issues traded, 125 advanced, 139 declined and 32 remained unchanged.

MJLBD topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 405 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were ARGONDENIM, RNSPIN, GP, IFIC, ENVOYTEX, BEXIMCO, ONEBANKLTD, UCBL and UNITEDAIR.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8492 by dropping over zero points.

Out of the issues traded, 81 gained, 116 declined and 24 remained unchanged.
