DHAKA: Readymade garment workers called for indefinite countrywide demonstration from Thursday to press their 5-point demand including to pay the salary from the Tuba factory.

Labor leader Moshrefa Mishu called the strike after the police pulled out the workers of five factories of Tuba group charging baton and opened fire to take the situation under control.

She said the strike would be continued to protest the police repression and to protect the labor rights.
