DHAKA: Banglalion, country’s one of the largest 4G service providers, signed an agreement with Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider recently.
According to the deal, from now on Banglalion will take technical support from Huawei to upgrade and expand its Long Term Evolution (LTE-4G) network, a press release said on Tuesday.
Banglalion’s chief operating officer M Shafiqul Islam on behalf of his organization signed the deal with Huawei’s chief technical officer Shixiaojie (Colin), the news release added.
Banglalion chairman major (retd) Abdul Mannan, chief technology officer Ekhlas Uddin Ahmed, chief of WiFi and VAS Azhar H Chowdhury and Huawei account director Mizanur Rahman Khan Choudhury, account manager M Omar Nahid, head of supply chain S M Masud Ul Azim and other high officials of both sides were present at the signing ceremony.
