DHAKA: Finance Minister AMA Muhith did not attend a program of unwrapping book due to his illness on Saturday.

The finance minister was scheduled to unwrap a book titled ‘Selected Micro Economic Theory and Practice’ published by the Daily Star.

Daily Star Editor Mahfuz Anam made the disclosure in the outset of the program.

He added: “He (Muhith) did not come here due to his illness. But I do not want to spread saying he has been admitted to hospital or on the way to hospital. We pray his quick recovery.”
