DHAKA: Indian state minister for external affairs and Development of North Eastern Region VK Singh on Sunday proposed joint-effort with Bangladesh on ready made garments (RMG).

VK Sing placed his proposal during the meeting with Bangladesh foreign minister Abul Hasan Mahmood Ali at latter’s office in the city.

At the 15-minute meeting started at 9:30am, they discussed different bilateral issues.

The Indian minister told, “The garments and textile industry has much been developed in Bangladesh.”

“There will be no competitor in the world market, if Bangladesh and India work together,” he added.
