Saw dust sold as tea!

DHAKA: Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) on Thursday sealed Himalaya Tea Company Ltd for selling saw dust as tea.

BSTI sealed the company after conducting an operation at Gulistan Shopping Complex in the noon.

BSTI Assistant Director M Riazul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The company has been mixing tea flavor and color with saw dust and marketing it as tea for a long time, he added.
