DHAKA: Investors witnessed sharp fall in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Monday.
The DSE broad index shed over 32 points to stand at 4,608 at the close on the second trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 121412 with transaction at Tk 5025 million.
Of the issues traded, 71 advanced, 202 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
SINGERBD topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 351 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were SHURWID, ACI, BEXIMCO, MJLBD, LAFSURCEML, BSRMSTEEL, IDLC, ARGONDENIM and GP.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8675 by dropping over 62 points.
Out of the issues traded, 36 gained, 170 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
