DHAKA: Country’s leading Regent Airways is going to run two flights daily by its Boeing 737-700 airplane on Dhaka-Chittagong-Dhaka route from September 15.
Regent’s Brand and Communication manager SM Riazul Islam told banglanews, initiative of using this modern jet’s flights has been taken for the passengers’ comfortable journey.
A large part of the air travelers use the Dhaka-Chittagong route in the domestic route; many of them are businesspeople and the travel in the modern jet will be comfortable for next generation, added Riazul.
Regent sources said, using of Boeing jet would cost more, but it would make passengers travel comfortable and majority of Regent passengers were from the port city.
Owned by Chittagong-based Habib Group, the airways began its journey on November 10, 2010. Besides the domestic routes, Regent runs flights in international routes including Dhaka-Kolkata, Dhaka-Bangkok, Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur and Dhaka-Singapore.
