Free medical service at tax fair

DHAKA: Aysha Memorial Specialized Hospital Pvt Ltd is serving the taxpayers at ‘National Income Tax Fair-2014’ at Officers’ Club in the city.

Sources said the taxpayers are being provided free treatment, including pressure checking and sugar test.

In this regard, Aysha Memorial Hospital medical officer Dr Tanvir Sultana said pressure level of many taxpayers is often increasing during paying tax. “We are here to serve them,” she added.

Aysha Memorial Specialized Hospital Pvt Ltd arranges this free camp every year at income tax fair, she added. Moreover, the hospital authorities also provide free medicine to the taxpayers if needed.

Nevertheless, the hospital also keeps a well-equipped ambulance standby all time there if it is necessary for someone.

The medical team includes two doctors, a nurse, two ward boys serve at income tax fair in two shifts.

On the other hand, the taxpayers are also happy over getting free medical checkup and treatment at the tax fair premises.

Shamim Hossain, a taxpayer said that he was feeling sick after submitting return and felt the necessity of testing sugar. “I am pleased here after getting the medical help.”

However, thanking Aysha Memorial Specialized Hospital Pvt Ltd, national income tax fair committee member secretary and additional tax commissioner Fazlul Haque Arif also said that this is one of the finest initiatives of the hospital.
