Bangladeshi nationals are running business with name and fame at Times Square, Plaza Low Yat, China Market and many other places.

Privileges of Category-1 Visa

This visa holders get the opportunities as same as the Malaysian citizens have. They are treated like a tax payer citizen.

They can take bank loan for buying car and home; can send their children to government schools.

Visa process is very easy unless one either lacks of sufficient information or gets caught by the agents. Some consultancy firms are doing well on the matter.

Specially, it has to be kept in mind that person who completed the graduation can apply only. So, the certificate of graduation must be submitted, Raju added.

Raju said six copies of passport size photographs, copy of all pages of the national passport, character certificate by local commissioner are required for visa application.

Beside, a bank statement and a local utility or electricity bill will also be necessary, added the chief consultant.

Business Residence Visa

Advocate Raju said, license of a company is required for applying business residence visa.

The agent prepares the tax registration for the applicant to get the license. Local company has to take the licenses via the approved company from the government offices.

The agent also holds responsibility to bring the approval of lawyers and joint stock companies.

Whole process can be complete within 30 to 40 days, if all documents remain prepared.

Malaysia immigration office calls the applicant through the agent.

On arrival at Malaysia, one is to visit the immigration at first and then they were given the visa within an hour.

A Category-1 Visa cost approximately Tk 5 lakh while a Business Residence Visa cost nearly Tk 7 lakh.

WMCL’s Raju said the possibility for cancellation of an application is very low, if all process is maintained properly.

Honesty is a big deal here, he added.
