Stocks end higher Sunday

DHAKA: Country's stock market marked fall again in its price indices on Sunday.

 The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 25 points only to stand at 4,635 at the close on the first trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 1,96,249 with volume of transactions at Tk 11012 million.

Of the issues traded, 168 advanced, 105 declined and 29 remained unchanged.

MJLBD topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 541 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were SQURPHARMA, BXPHARMA, DELTALIFE, BEXIMCO, GP, ACTIVEFINE, TITASGAS, RSRMSTEEL and BSRMSTEEL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 9,525 by dropping over 86 points.

 Out of the issues traded, 113 gained, 99 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
