Hide-laden truck won’t be allowed to leave Dhaka

DHAKA: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Benazir Ahmed on Sunday categorically said hide-laden trucks would not be allowed to leave Dhaka. 

He came up with the assertion while addressing a press conference at DMP Media Centre in the city on Sunday noon. 

Benazir said, “Such type of special measures will be taken to lessen hide trafficking.” 

But, hide-laden trucks would be allowed to enter the capital, he added.
