DHAKA: Investment Corporation of Bangladesh Limited (ICB) on Thursday declared dividends of its 15 mutual funds for the 2009-10 fiscal.
Of mutual funds, eight funds are being running by Investment Corporation of Bangladesh Limited and others by ICB Asset Management Company Limited.
The decision came form a board meeting of Investment Corporation of Bangladesh Limited and ICB Asset Management Company Limited (AMCL).
ICB Chairman Professor Dr. M Khairul Hossain, Managing Director Mohammad Fayekuzzaman, Directors General Dina Ahsan, Khorsed Alam and Iftikhar-uz-Zaman attended the meeting.
The board has fixed August 12 as the record date in this connection.
Public Relation Officer of ICB Golam Rabbani and ICBAMCL official Md Sharifuzzaman both confirmed banglanews24.com.bd about the decision.
Golam Rabbani said, “ICB mutual funds are first in Bangladesh to declare up to 400 percent cash dividend.”
The dividends announced by Investment Corporation of Bangladesh Limited for its eight funds are respectably 400%, 200%, 140%, 125%, 100%, 75%, 70% and 65%.
The dividends declared by ICB Asset Management Company Limited for its seven funds are – ICB AMCL Mutual Fund 50%, ICB Islamic Mutual Fund 35%, ICB 1st NRB Mutual Fund 35%, ICB 2nd NRB Mutual Fund 22%, ICB AMCL 2nd Mutual Fund 14% for ten months, ICB Employment Provident Mutual Fund 11% for six months and Prime Bank ICB Mutual Fund 10%.
