DHAKA: All jewelry shops will remain closed across the country on Thursday on the occasion of Durga Puja, said a press release of Bangladesh Jewelers Samity (BJS) on Wednesday.

The release, signed by BJS president Kazi Sirajul Islam, and its secretary Enamul Haque, said BJS made the decision unanimously at a meeting of its executive committee on Sunday.
