DHAKA: The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) Sunday recommended that the government should cancel license of those businessmen who would hike price of essentials during Ramadan.
“The FBCCI would do its best to keep prices of essentials within tolerable level during the month,” FBCCI President A K Azad told a press briefing, ahead of the month of fasting and religious festivals.
Reports have it that the market is already on the upturn.
FBCCI Director S M Nurul Haque, Mamtaz Uddin, Manwara Hakim Ali, Golam Mostafa and Helal Uddin, among others, attended the press meet.
