DHAKA: Sheikh Amin Uddin Ahmed on Tuesday took charge as the chairman of the board of directors of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC).

The Bank and Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification regarding the appointment on Sunday.

Sheikh Amin Uddin Ahmed started his career in banking in 1966 after completing his post graduation in Finance.

He observed the responsibilities of Director General of Janata Bank Ltd and Sonali Bank Ltd.

He was also the Managing Director of Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited.
