DSE, CSE again witness fall

DHAKA: The prices of most of the shares at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed negative trends from the early hours of trading on Thursday, keeping pace with past days of the week except Wednesday.


DSEX, the prime index of country’s major bourse – Dhaka Stock Exchange – which crossed 5,000-mark on last day, went down to 4,990.00- points at 12:55pm while it was 5,045.00+ points at 10:55am.


On the other hand, the port city bourse, CSE, also saw negative trend from the early hours of trading with its Selective Category Index, CSCX, 1118.00+ in the morning and 1108.00- in the afternoon.
