DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing positive trend in share-price indices on Wednesday.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), rose over 46 points to stand at 4979 at 12:25 pm.

Trade deals stood at 45,628 with transaction at Tk 2,257 million. Of the issues traded, 207 advanced, 35 declined and 37 remained unchanged.

SAPORTL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 137 million having changed hands during the time.

Besides, Chittagong stocks’ Selective Categories Index climbed up to 93 by gaining over 76 points at 12:24 pm.

Out of the issues traded, 115 gained, 39 declined and 20 remained unchanged.
