DHAKA: Key share price indexes at both the bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- witnessed a mixed trend also on Tuesday, maintaining continuity with the past day.
Sources told banglanews that though, the indexes of the both bourses were witnessing a positive trend in the beginning, but, later the price keys of DSE and CSE went down.
However, after starting with 4,930.82 points at 9:30am, DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, reached to 4,961.60 points by one and a half hours in the morning.
But, later it started to go down and stood at 4,944.25 points at 2:35pm before closing the trading.
Nevertheless, GP topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 135.67 million having changed hands, after the trading.
The other turnover leaders of the major bourse were BXPHARMA, SQURPHARMA, QSMDRYCELL, HFL, SAPORTL, BDTHAI, ULC, LAFSURCEML and BEXIMCO.
On the other hand, the port city bourse, CSE, starting from 1,110.80 in the morning, came to 1,113.90 at 2:35pm, in its selective category index, CSCX, despite the falls, which were recovered later.
